All Mankind

Sorry I missed yesterday's post, too much other stuff going on. But trust me this band is worth the wait. All Mankind are still very much underground but they are definately moving up in the music world. Just about to release their new album, it has been described as an epic that combines flavours of bands such as The Killers and Coldplay, so if that's not enough to get you interested I don't know what else is. These guys havn't been around long but have been doing some nice shows and are currently touring around America, England, and Europe!

The band is fronted by Rich Beeston as well as playing the piano, Dave Beeston drums for the band as well as backing vocals, Gavin Perkins is the bass player of the band, and Dorny is the guitarist that rounds up their lineup.

All Mankind have gained a loyal following across the USA, UK, and Australia, having performed over 500 times to more than 100,000 fans. The band's live success has led to independent album sales in the thousands and award nominations for songwriting and performance in both Australia and America. Like I said, these guys are definately going places.

Here's a picture of the guys at a photo shoot for their new album, "Simple Desire":

Thanks for stopping by again guys. Hope you love this band as much as I do. Stay tuned for more aussie music action! And to leave you for today on a high, here's a link to their awesome new song 'Break The Spell':

The Butterfly Effect

Ok so today's post will be on one of the better bands from Australia. The Butterfly Effect have been around for a while and have released several albums, each one winning over new fans which have meant their live shows go off!! Now this band also comes from Queenslandjust like DLC. Huge amounts of talent up their I guess.

So this is a four man band consisting of Clint Boge as Vocals, Ben Hall rocking the Drums, Glenn Esmond on the Bass, and Kurt "Puddles" Goedhart on Guitar. So I havn't beenable to make it to one of their shows yet but have heard great things from friends and the reviews and online videos of their live performances are outstanding.

These guys are definately worth checking out with their better songs being 'Always', 'Window & The Watcher', 'Crave', and 'One Second Of Insanity'. That picture just above of the band rocking out at a concert just shows these guys know how to put on a performance. Just like DLC I'll post a link of one of my favourites of their songs that you can listen to. So give the link below a click and enjoy!

Until next time...keep listening aussie music, it's the best!

Dead Letter Circus

Hey everyone!

First post is going to be about one of the best aussie bands at the moment that are heading big places. It's Dead Letter Circus! Went and saw them a couple of months ago and they are great live :)
So firstly, just a little background info on the band...

They are an alternative rock band from Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. The band comprises Kim Benzie as vocals, Rob Maric on Guitar, Stewart Hill on Bass, and Luke Williams on Drums.

The band are currently beginning to export their music as they have just this month signed a deal with Sumerion Records to release their latest album 'This Is The Warning' in North America. Just further proof that they are indeed going places! Check out this picture of DLC playing live. They are well known for the high-energy shows that get the crowd really involved.

So lastly, I just want to give you a few song suggestions. From their older stuff you definately can't go past 'The Mile' and 'Disconnect and Apply'.They're both great songs and are brilliant live! From their new album pretty much every song is described as epic by critics. In particular 'Here We Divide', 'One Step', 'Space On The Wall', 'This Long Hour', 'Cage', and 'Reaction are all incredible and definately crowd favourites.

Alright so give them a listen, you won't regret it and stay tuned for my next awesome aussie band tomorrow!
In the meantime here's a link to check out one of DLC's songs. So click it!!
